The music, art and festivals of India are thousands of years old. Painting, crafts and instrumental music are taught at USMS as part of the curriculum in order to provide a complete education.
Many schools in India do not offer classes in the arts. Most of the children at USMS would not be able to have such experiences outside the classroom since their families have great financial limitations.
Numerous festivals are celebrated at the school as well as in the homes of the children. We honor all religions and celebrate all festivals with great respect. At the school, the children share holiday treats and enjoy the fellowship during the festivals.
